This is my design for the fine arts and literary journal that is published by the Yahara Journal at the end of the Madison College school year. The idea behind this design is to speak to how art and written word is all about connection; connection with the world, other people and with ourselves.

I created all of the illustrations used for this piece in Procreate on an iPad 11. For the image treatment, I used photoshop to adjust the color and create a softer effect by duplicating the image, adding a Gaussian blur and them using that layer as a soft light. For my type treatments, I brought the illustration into InDesign and placed my type.
